Joyce Sims: Singer

Joyce Sims was an American singer and songwriter.

Sims was born August 6, 1959 in Rochester, NY.

Sims shot to fame in the late 1980s when her single “Come Into My Life” reached the top 10 in the US and the UK.

Her music has been recorded and sampled by musical icons as jazz vocalist Randy Crawford, R&B singer Angie Stone, rapper Snoop Dogg, and featured in the film “Species.”

Sims performances has taken her all over the world including Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Sims died October 15, 2022, and had two children, and lived with her husband in New Jersey.
